A common complaint for some time now has been that people didn’t know where the Port Robinson Ferry Bridge-It. In fact, people who didn’t know it was there would ride by it on the Greater Niagara Circle Route, not knowing that the pathway to the left at Port Robinson Road was the way to the ferry and Port Robinson East, not to mention a shortcut to Chippewa (Niagara Falls).
The Thorold Tourism operator Susan Morin, however, has taken the matter into her own hands, with the approval and assistance of the City of Thorold. There are now new signs posted on both sides of Port Robinson which give users, many cyclists, directions and information concerning the ferry.
