THIS PLAY IS WELL WORTH SEEING

I’m not normally a fan of live theatre, but I went to the Trinity United Church Community Hall see the dress rehearsal for the Thorold Community Theatre production of “It Runs In The Family” Thursday night. I have to say, it was well worth watching.

It’s a very funny story, set in the doctor’s lounge of a hospital, about lies that build and snowball and become increasingly unmanageable. I don’t want to give away any more than that, but I will say that it offers plenty of laughs throughout. The all-volunteer cast offer up a truly professional performance.

I urge everyone who likes to laugh to go and see this production. Shows are at 8:00 pm on November 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26, with matinees on November 13 and 20 at 2:00 pm. Call 905-682-8779, email boxoffice@communitytheatre.ca for more information or go to thoroldtheatre.ca for tickets and information.
